Mental Health & Relationship Therapist Intern

“The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts.” – Marcus Aurelius

Jeff is a therapist intern providing individual and relational therapy services under the guidance of our team of therapists. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi. Since earning his undergraduate degree, he has worked in two fields: He spent his first 10 years after college helping young adults find meaning and purpose in their lives, relationships, and future in the context of their personal worldview. Most recently he has been working in human resources bringing together complex teams to implement solutions to business problems. Jeff is pursuing his Master’s degree in Counseling from John Brown University (Siloam Springs, AR) to follow his passion of helping others.

Jeff focuses on creating a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, enabling them to create and work on goals to live fulfilling lives with themselves and others. He believes that using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps people evaluate and change how they think about themselves, experiences, and the world around them. That change in thinking changes how they feel and leads people to develop new habits that enable healing and growth. He also leverages elements of Experiential Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Jeff’s favorite role is that of dad to his son and daughter. He enjoys spending time with his faithful companion, Jiko – An AKC Champion Standard Schnauzer. He also loves hiking and camping in state and national parks.

We are honored and grateful to have Jeff on our team. Call/text (479) 282-4452 or email info@fbcbt.org to learn more and/or schedule an appointment with him.
