Mental Health & Relationship Therapist

“You don’t have to stay anywhere forever.” – Neil Gaiman

Joshua “Josh” Duncan, joins FBCBT as a Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual and relational therapy services to clients ranging in ages from teenagers to adults.  He believes that the path of change involves the letting go of old habits and embracing new habits through understanding how thoughts can impact feelings, and how those feelings influence our behavioral response, especially when feeling unsafe, and embarrassed.

Therefore, when we address our distorted thoughts our mood improves, and our ability to cope and manage our relationships increases.

Josh has 17 years experience working with families in a variety of treatment settings including working with the Arkansas Department of Human Service as an Intensive Family Therapist and acute hospital care.  He has his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University (Siloam Springs, AR).

Among Josh’s talents outside of therapy, he speaks Spanish conversationally, he enjoys being outside (especially biking!), writing, and playing piano!

We are honored and grateful to have Josh on our team.  Call/text (479) 282-4452 or email info@fbcbt.org to learn more and/or schedule an appointment with him.
