“Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

Katherine Rogers is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Katherine has sought out the highest level of training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Beck institute, and like the Beck Institute she refuses to remain complacent in her training pursuits. Katherine finds meaning in applying her knowledge in CBT by working with families, couples, and individuals to finally obtain lasting change. Katherine believes you and your loved ones can intervene in destructive thoughts, beliefs and behavioral patterns in order to change your quality of life at home, at school, at work and within relationships.

Katherine believes that sometimes in our lives we unintentionaly hold onto issues from the past and/or have scars from our formative experiences that are impacting us everyday. These issues can resurface at anytime and in many different forms such as anxiety, sadness, depression, feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, worthlessness and anger… these issues have “roots” digging deep into our pasts and growing furiously into our futures. Choosing to suppress or push disturbing feelings, thoughts or experiences aside may work for a period of time, but will not resolve on their own. As a result, ineffective, and often destructive coping patterns develop. Working with Katherine can break these patterns, habits and behaviors and lead to a creating a more meaningful and purposeful life.

Katherine spends her time loving her son, daughter and husband as well as all the precious members of her tribe. Katherine relishes in cultivating a life well lived in the dark times and the happy times. She believes that mending relationships for healing and setting intentions to grow herself is noble and courageous living that she will unrelentingly esteem to.
