“Fear is fleeting, it is not a part of your foundation. Once you allow yourself to lean on your foundation, you will find yourself.”

Kati Gilmore is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling. Kati also holds a specialization approved by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling to provide counseling services by means of technology in order to help meet you where you are, this specialization is called Technology Assisted Counseling (TAC). Kati believes in the value and power of each individual and will work along side you to obtain the quality of life you desire.  Kati uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help you discover who you are and what you are capable of in this world. She implements techniques that are both practical and manageable in order to reduce discomfort and inspire hope in you. She has experience with a variety of populations but holds a special place for the misunderstood.  Kati is an old soul who is very relatable, compassionate and genuine.

Kati received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Services from Central Baptist College and continued her graduate work at John Brown University.  She has been recognized and awarded for her work in human services over the course of her education and career in mental health.  Kati has a background in competitive classical voice, having made All-State Choir in high school.  However, as of recently she considers herself retired and more of a “sing for fun” type.  She has lived in Arkansas all her life and calls NWA home. Kati enjoys doing impressions, making others laugh, lounging around with her Boston Terrier, Mr. Gilmore, spending time with her artistic Nanny and gazing up to her 6’9” husband, David.
