“If you do too much, people get dependent on you. And if you do nothing, they lose hope. You have to use a light touch. When you do things right, people won’t be sure you’ve done anything at all.” – Futurama

Michael Deyo, Licensed Professional Counselor, provides individual counseling services with our team via in-person and teletherapy platforms. Michael has worked in various treatment settings prior to joining FBCBT; he wants to focus on CBT because of its wide range of application to help clients bring awareness and guide individuals so they can create their own positive personal change.

Michael received both his undergraduate degree (BS in Psychology) and Master’s degree (MS in Community Counseling) from the University of Central Arkansas. He spent the first part of his career working in community mental health and in acute hospital settings, gaining experience with a wide variety of clients from children through adults.

Michael is a veteran, having served as a combat medic for the Arkansas Army National Guard for 12 years (including a tour in Iraq). He enjoys being busy, as evidenced by working a full-time night shift as a janitor for Wal-Mart, and then as a Residential Care Tech for DHS/DDS while pursuing his Master’s degree!

We are honored and grateful to have him on our team. Call/text (479) 282-4452 or email info@fbcbt.org to learn more and/or schedule an appointment with Michael.
