Nicholas Ward, Licensed Professional Counselor, offers Mental Health and Relational counseling services out of our Little Rock extension office.  He recognizes that change is never easy,  even if that change is for the better.  His therapeutic approach seeks to help make those changes easier through using CBT aid his clients in identifying those thoughts that contribute to depression and anxiety in order to give clients the ability to change those thoughts.  

Nick has worked in the mental health field for 13 years.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health, both from Henderson State University.  Over the past decade, he has provided services in outpatient, inpatient, and substance use treatment settings, working with clients ranging in age from 5-75 with a wide variety of presenting issues. 

Nick is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which focuses primarily on addressing trauma, anxiety, and other “stuck” thoughts and feelings. Nick is the proud father of 4 children ranging in ages from 2-20!  He enjoys being active and busy, which has included climbing the Great Wall of China.
