Our Services

What are Therapy Services?

Therapy Services consist of any session or intervention a therapist or clinical provider does on the behalf of client care.  Most therapy services are in the form of a session such as an individual therapy session or family therapy session. It can also look like writing a letter or making a call on client behalf, however all services must support client care goals that are clearly stated in the client treatment plan. All services are billable. If you ever have a question about what is a service and what is not please ask your therapist or one of our administrative specialists.

Diagnostic Intake

A diagnostic intake is the first session anyone will receive when beginning therapy/counseling. A diagnostic intake helps ensure the appropriate clinical recommendations are made based on the presenting concerns of the client.

Individual Therapy

An individual therapy session is the most common form of therapy/counseling after the intake session because most of the therapeutic work takes place with the individual.

Relationship Therapy

Relationship Therapy also known as Marital Therapy, Couples Counseling, Premarital Counseling and Family Counseling is best provided by a therapist who is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. They are required to obtain further training and go through a higher standard of testing to be licensed. They are uniquely qualified to counsel issues and concerns within relationships.

Group Session

Group therapy sessions consist of multiple clients at once being cared for by one or more therapists. Group therapy is proven in research to be highly effective in the treatment of many different types of mental health and relationship issues.

Crisis Stabilization

Crisis stabilization services are designed to prevent or  reduce acute symptoms of mental illness.

Consultation Session

The consultation service happens when a therapist/counselor either observes or acts as an expert to provide advice on how to move forward with the presenting problem(s).
