“The future depends on what we do in the present.” – Ghandi

Cassandra is a Therapist Intern working toward obtaining her Masters degree Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of Phoenix. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Business through Eastern Oregon University. As an intern, she meets with clients while working under the supervision of FBCBT staff therapists to help her develop her therapy style, skill, and techniques.

Her therapeutic philosophy is that each person’s journey of healing is unique and should be viewed through a holistic lens.  Every person has the ability to create meaningful lives through exploring their natural talents, realizing every emotion offers a gift, and finding light within seeming darkness.  She is specifically wanting to learn more about the CBT style of therapy because “CBT can help clients create a perspective of themselves based in wholeness by evaluating their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.  The path of healing opens up before us when we attempt to have these aspects of ourselves congruent with who we wish to be.”

Cassandra and her family recently relocated to NWA from Arizona.  She loves to be outdoors with her family and teaching her children through nature.  She also loves to crochet while drinking a cup of Earl Grey.

We are honored and grateful to have her on our team as she refines her skills as a therapist. Call/text (479) 339-1238 or email info@fbcbt.org to learn more and/or schedule an appointment with Cassandra.
